"The real beauty about developing the Forster business is that if you’ve got a good idea it’s the right environment to make it happen.

I joined in 2000, following an approach by John Forster who offered me the opportunity to develop his business and I have never looked back since.  Having built a very successful region in the centre of Scotland, our attention turned to the Highland area and following an acquisition we opened a new office in Elgin in 2007.

Now that we have full national coverage, I have turned my attention to the skills and training gap which is affecting the entire construction industry.  My focus is now on the development of an in-house apprenticeship, which will ensure that we always have a steady stream of quality skilled tradesmen to construct our Forster roofs.

If asked to describe Forster, I would say professional, driven by strong values and that we are all passionate about roofing!"
