“I came to Forster with ten years trade experience behind me with another contractor and after spending several years away from roofing I was keen to get back on the tools. 

Although I started with Forster as a Roof Tiler/Slater, I’ve spent most of my nine years in the Customer Service Team carrying out minor repairs to new homes across the central belt.  I really enjoy the variety it involves.  Every day is different and every homeowner too.  Instead of working on building sites I’m now working on new housing estates and instead of signing in at the site office every morning, I’m introducing myself to a new homeowner and helping to put their mind at ease.

I’ve learnt so much through my job, particularly in communicating with different people and the training I’ve received in fitting Decra tiles, solar panels, Flag single ply roofing and other new roofing products has helped to broaden my knowledge and gain new skills.”
