“I’ve been a Slater for Forster for over ten years now and have over twenty years roofing experience.  I’d heard good things about Forster from a friend who worked for them, which made me keen to want to work for Forster too.

For most of my first twelve years with Forster I worked alone on roofing new housing developments across Angus and Aberdeenshire but now I’m responsible for a Trainee, which has given me the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and experience to somebody else.  Forster takes on a lot of larger developments, which often means that I can be on a site for several years.  This really helps me to build up a rhythm and provides a great basis for training youngsters coming into the industry. 

Forster are really good at looking after you and the whole package; the van, the work gear, the tools, the training and the support that you receive is great.”
