Slating to new build private mansion

The striking design (including a complex roof design) and beautiful finish of this modern mansion house near Forfar perfectly showcase the outstanding level of heritage skills on display. Forster completed the roofing works for main contractor Delson Contracts Ltd. Burlington Blue/Grey Best slates, laid to a diminishing course in random width were fitted to optimise the aesthetical appearance. The 1,000m² roof consists of a total of 68 panels, including 5 dormer roofs, 6 eyebrows and 4 turrets. Slates for 34 valleys and 18 mitred hips were expertly cut, further highlighting the outstanding quality of workmanship on display.
