Install Various Roof Coverings to New Building
Typical of a number of new build lodges, restaurants for various Brewers, this particular project was unusual in that it had three different roof covering specifications.
Forster was appointed, and after much discussion, the final specification consisted of Second Hand Welsh Slate, Sandtoft Hand Made Plain Tiles and Eternit Rivendale Slate. The fast track build programme and the varying materials required close supervision and co-ordination at site level. ‘Just in time’ deliveries were critical as not only was the building under construction but the surrounding car park was also being created, limiting storage space.
We have successfully completed approximately twenty similar projects over the years and are now involved in roofing extensions to Lodges, which is testament to the occupancy rates of this retail model.
